Our members are lake and road associations, some very small and some very large, and every size in between.

 

FOCA is a not-for-profit organization representing volunteer associations and individual property owners all across Ontario. We are your provincial voice.

Muskoka Lakes Association

The Muskoka Lakes Association’s mission is to promote the responsible use, enjoyment and conservation of the unique Muskoka environment. Efforts are concentrated in four areas:

 

1.We protect and promote water quality

2. We advocate for responsible government and fair taxation

3. We promote responsible land use and

4. We lead on important Muskoka issues.

Georgian Bay Association

GBA is more than just a group of like-minded individuals. In fact, as a not-for-profit umbrella advocacy organization, we represent the combined voice of 19 community associations. That is over 3,000 families along the eastern and northern shores of Georgian Bay, with our communications and publications reaching around 18,000 individuals. With that much support, we can advocate for real action to all levels of government that benefits us all. The GBA dedicates itself to preserving the incredible, yet fragile, wilderness and waterways that make the Bay so enjoyable for you, your family, friends, visitors, and countless generations to come.

Simcoe Muskoka

District Health Unit

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is governed by the Board of Health. It is the Board’s role to oversee the health unit’s affairs and operations. The Board, through the Medical Officer of Health/Chief Executive Officer is ultimately responsible for the organization.

The Board has been established under the Province of Ontario’s Health Protection and Promotion Act. The purpose of this Act is to provide for the organization and delivery of public health programs and services, the prevention of the spread of disease and the promotion and protection of the health of the people of Ontario.

South Stewart Lake Cottage Association

SSLCA is a group of cottagers and residents who reside on Kilty Bay Road.  Our purpose is to maintain a safe and operational private road on the south west shore of Stewart Lake.
